Straight Wager Prices
Prices are equivalent to Money Line wagers, but use a decimal format to display odds. The decimal format is usually only used in Soccer (European Football) contests.
The following formulas can be used to calculate estimated payouts:
Negative Money Lines (eg.-110): (1 + (100/110)) = Decimal price
Positive Money Lines (eg.+120): (1 + (250/100)) = Decimal price
- Tip: Any Money Line price can be used in the above formulas.
- Example: Germany is 2.40 to beat Spain 1.60. You wager $100 on Germany. If Germany wins you win $140.
The following table shows the Money Line, its equivalent Price, and the payout for four different winning wagers based on the above-mentioned prices.
| Winning Team | Wager | Money Line | Price | Payout (including intial wager) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Germany | $20 | +140 | 2.40 | $48 |
| Germany | $100 | +140 | 2.40 | $240 |
| Spain | $20 | -170 | 1.60 | $32 |
| Spain | $100 | -170 | 1.60 | $160 |
