Straight Wager Point Spread

Point Spread wagers are where you have Team A and Team B and one team is favoured over another by a fixed point difference, known as a Point Spread.

If you wager on the team that is favoured, indicated by a minus sign (-), they must win by at least the amount of the stated Point Spread for you to win. If you take the other team, the underdog, indicated by the plus sign (+), your team must win outright or lose by less than the Point Spread for your wager to be considered a win.

Place your Bets

1. Log on to Sportsbook.
2. Choose a sport.
3. From the first drop-down menu, Select a Bet Type, choose Straight Wager. (The second drop-down menu automatically defaults to Straight Wager.)
4. Type the amount of your bet.
5. From the Line column (Point Spread), choose the outcome of the event you are predicting.
6. Click Place Bet. The Betting Ticket area displays your bet.
7. To confirm your bet, type YES in the Confirmation field and click Submit.

Betting Rules

• The team or outcome wagered on must win by the Point Spread given at the time of your wager.
• Tie games with the Point Spread are considered No Action and your original wager is returned to your account.
• You cannot place a Point Spread bet on both teams or outcomes.
• You cannot place a Money Line and Point Spread bet on the same team.
• All wagers are final.

• Note: The Point Spread may change between the time a sports bettor places the wager and the event's start time. Payout of your wager is subject to the Point Spread active at the time the wager is placed.
• Example: Miami is -7 in the Miami/Buffalo game. Sports bettor A wagers on Miami to win. The following table shows Sports bettor A's wager results on three final scores after the Point Spread has been applied.
